Robbie joined PB&A in 2024 following the completion ofhis master’s degree, bringing past work experience in high-end residential,sustainable, and public architecture to the practice. Robbie is driven by thedesire to improve our urban landscapes through the architecture he creates. Histhesis, driven by his love of the outdoors and active lifestyle, explored newforms that would acknowledge, retain, and celebrate nature. Here, the treeremains as a constant in a densifying built environment, creating a blueprintto inspire better urban outcomes for our cities.

Hands-on in his design approach, Robbie enjoys the iterativeprocess of design and problem-solving at all scales to ensure the best outcome.This includes testing new construction technologies and methodologies, evolvinghis design thinking spending time being part of the making on site. Robbie hasa keen interest in sustainability; his skillset includes training in Homestar,building performance, and contributing to building design policy at NZGBC.

This drive for a sustainable urban form has continued atPB&A, where Robbie has worked across a range of scales, deliveringinnovative, high-quality residential and mixed-use projects with a strongemphasis on community-focused design and enhancing the user experience.
