Paul Brown
Director – Architect
BArch (Hons), NZRAB Registered Architect

As the practice director and a principal architect at PB&A, Paul draws on more than 25 years’ experience in Auckland’s development market to successfully deliver projects. With a thorough knowledge of the unitary plan and sound urban design principles, Paul optimises a project’s development potential.

PB&A’s successes to date are a result of Paul’s insight and expertise. He faces architecture’s key challenge – the possibilities and constraints that surround the building process – by focusing on client liaison, research and a creative, fresh approach to each project.

Open communication with clients is key to Paul’s role at PB&A. His aim – to understand their needs and expectations and ensure these are met within budgetary; technical and planning restrictions.

As the founder of PB&A, Paul ensures that the values and high standards of the practice are maintained in all aspects of every project.

Architecture is about people: clients, contractors, consultants and end-users. It must always serve the needs of these groups and be the result of all their inputs.
